Straßenbahnfahrerpult für Tatra in Omsi, 28 Dec. 2023 20:17

Hallo,
ich habe mir aus einer alten Straßenbahn ein Fahrerpult ausbauen dürfen und dies nun mit einem Arduino (und einem Arcaze) für den Betrieb am PC umgebaut.
Nun möchte ich die Leuchtmelder mithilfe der KOMSI-Schnittstelle (bzw. GAZZ) betreiben.
Dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass der KOMSI-Client (bzw. GAZZ) den KT4D nicht als Fahrzeug erkennt und keine Verbindung zum Arduino aufbaut.
Bei Bussen hingegen wird alles erkannt und die Leuchtmelder funktionieren.
Hat jemand eine Idee woran das liegt und wie ich das lösen kann?

The names for the indicator lights in the tram must be different to those used in the buses.

So you would need to find what the names are being used for the tram, and set Komsi up to read those names instead of the ones for the buses,
and have 2 profiles that you load for komsi when you drive a bus or a tram.

I have been playing with ‘Omsi Bus Board Interface‘
which allows you to read the data out of omsi without having to modify the .dll file,
you just add the names of the item you want to read in the .opl file, and BBI will automatically read it, very handy to read the IBIS strings, interior display string, bus temperature etc.
