LAWO SICMA loading issue, 28 Oct. 2023 22:05

Hello,
I have created a config for the ads and programmed some basic destinations in TEDPlus. I have a LAWO SICMA-Control with software (SCLFZDEZ.BIN) version 6.12, and a PCMCIA-CF adapter with a 128MB Sandisk CF card. On insertion of the PCMCIA card it displays "FEHLER! Karte nicht lesbar Bitte Karte entnehmen". The card is currently formatted as FAT 1MB, with the files with extensions BO1, BOA, BOT, mo1, NA1, NAA, NAT, PO1 and POA on it.
Does anyone have any suggestions what might be the issue and how to resolve it?

Hi, your problem is that version 6.12 for the Sicma Control is too old to be able to load using a CF card. It therefore requires a SRAM memory card that has a special Lawo formatting.

Where can I get such a card? I know sourcing a SRAM card is difficult enough, getting it with the correct data written on it seems impossible.

SRAM cards are now available on the second-hand market such as ebay, ebay classifieds.
To play the card would require a CSM Omnidrive or the cheaper variant a laptop with PCMCIA interface.
