I‘ve got a defective 24x200 LED sign which doesn‘t have any brand name on it. But it should be IBIS, there‘s WBSD, WBMS, WBED and WBME labeled next to the data connection.
The sign has no brand labels and no brand on the controller board or LED boards. There‘s only a label saying "LED Destination Sign for Public Transport Bus" :P
Anyone who knows which brand this sign is?
Nearly the whole series of these signs gone defective and is trashed. I picked this one out of the garbage container because I‘m curious what is causing them to fail.
After opening it I saw all the capacitors on the LED boards are bulging. I‘ll try to replace these, hoping the sign will work again. But first let it dry out... it‘s wet from the rain because it was outside for about a month...
