Meister LED destination sign controller , 10 Apr. 2020 08:42

Hi all,

I‘m sorry that I‘m communicating in English.. My German is not that good unfortunately.

Me and my friends bought a Connexxion bus a few years ago and I‘ve been working on controlling the LED destination signs. I am using the USB IBIS Master from Xatlabs to control the signs using a raspberry Pi. At the beginning I ran into the same problem as mentioned in this thread.

I could send commands using IBIS utility but nothing would make the LED display work except for the small number sign at the back of the bus. I got some help from someone in the Netherlands who switched the LED controller inside of the front sign for a LED controller from Meister. It worked instantly! The controllers almost look the same.

The problem is that he only had one of those Meister LED controllers and I can find any information on how to get one of those for the other LED destination sign. I attached an image of the meister LED controller. The only difference I could see was the sticker on the LED destination sign said something with "Meister" and the sign I have said something with "Ameli"

Does anyone know how to get one of those Meister LED controllers or how to modify the current LED controller to work with IBIS commands.. any help would be greatly appreciated!

Was the special zA3 telegram (not the DS3aMEIS in IBIS Utiltity, but manually using the Direct-option in the same program) suggested in the other topic not working with the original FY7000?

Hello,
Sorry for not speaking German.
Please let me know where could I find a link to download the LZD software? The public bus company has recently received some buses with Meister bus panels installed and there is no controller unit inside.The board inside the sign panel looks exactly like the one at the beginning of this topic. Does anyone have some kiind of software which I could use to program Greek character foonts and is there any documentation about the IBIS protocol used by these panels?
