Create destination EPROM for Brose ZB100, 09 May. 2019 23:25

Today I got a Brose ZB100 control unit which send Ds021 telegrams. It was connected to a set of ISA LCD signs.
On the control unit only a destination can be chosen using the Z/D button. Then a set of Ds001, Ds001a and Ds021 is send. The other buttons L, F1 and F2 have no function.
With software is needed to program a new destination EPROM for this ZB100 unit? 
The EPROM with label "Steuerdaten" has all the Ds021 telegrams paired with Ds001, Ds001a and drivers-message in it:

Nobody who knows anything about what was used to program this unit with this kind of firmware? I got my own texts in it using a hex-editor, but that‘s not the best way.
And I‘ve opened the ZB100... and found a leaking battery inside it  Why is this inside? The unit has no clock, no changeable settings and doesn‘t remember the last selected destination. What‘s the function of this battery?
I replaced it with a 680 Ohm resistor and the unit still works like before...

Hello Fien,
to program other or new destinations it will ne recomended to use an assembler which can convert the new files from e.g. an Excel-File oder a word (TXT) document.
This is an easy way to change the programmings. Otherwise you can do that in a hex Editor but in this case you have to know which place you must use (0200, 0400, 0600, 0800, 0A00, .....)

Hello David,
But I don‘t have a assembler for it So my only option is a hex editor to input new destinations.
