I tried to search the forums, but my German isn‘t very good. Nonetheless, this forum seems to be the best for these questions.
I recently bought a LAWO Flip dot display, for the side of a bus. Type MY16060-04.00. Part of a XY5L system. It came without any wiring, but it still has the ‘slave module‘ inside, a P3006C Is there a way I could use (for instance) a Raspberry Pi and emulate the Monobus signal the Master system broadcasts to the slave panels? I‘m a hobbyist, it‘s for personal use, if that matters.

Hi, welcome.
You can build a level converter to send Monobus signals, the problem is that the protocol is not documented.
But, you could probably build this PCB - https://static.mezgrman.de/misc/projects/LAWO_Flipdot_Controller/ and control the FlipDot directly.
WARNING: the linked PCB only supports LAWO matrix panels based on the FP2800 chip! |

You can also contact "Mezgrman", the designer of the circuit, in this forum, maybe he has a spare PCB... |
