Meister LED - IBIS 3, 17 May. 2017 07:14

Hello,
My bus have Meister Led Signs with EBIS3 controller.
I have been trying to write "front.fla" to mai front Meister display,
I used lzd, writing to file to my pcmcia card, then insert it to my front display:
-Orange LED is permanently on
-Green led slow flashing - without the card
-Green led start fast flashing - when inserted the card.
After 2 seconds: COMMUNICATION ERROR CDM.
What i did wrong? Now only display communication error cdm... Do i need to disconnect the EBIS3 controller when flashing?

ok,
i manage to write front.fla file to main display.
but i encounter a problem: side sign is Gorba (16x112).
So, after i write "front.fla"everything is ok, but:
- front sign (shows ok)
- back sign (show number ok)
on the side sign i get "OU" in front of text (exemple in second picture)
Attached photos:

Second photo taken after i write my .fla file,with "OU" in front of text. Does any of you know how to remove the "OU"?

"0U" are control characters used by Meister. You can‘t remove them.
But, there is a firmware for gorba signs, so they act like a meister sign.
I do have a sign with that firmware, but i don‘t think that i can copy and paste it :).
Or you control the sign with a PC, and a IBIS modem.

hmm, program i use for Meister is LZD 4.15, should i try with another software? i heard about LxD tools, but i don‘t have it.
Or should i try with Alpha-NT ? don‘t have this one either.

Hi. How you fix that error? I take the same when I insert the pcmci card on front sign.
Also did you try to see if Alpha-Nt is compatible?
