Hello everyone.
I found this forum and i hope i can get some help here.
I have VDL/ameli FY7000 DIN IBIS controller and VDL/Ameli LDL1650/250 destination sign plate.
It works just fine but i do not know how to program more destinations to controller. Controller is equipped with PCMCIA slot or similar. Does it accept CF-card with PCMCIA adapter. or do i need some special card.
Or is it possiple to control that destination plate with some other methods?
I have Mobitec 602 ICU but i don´t know is it compatible.

Hello Pallo,
You need PRW Ameli Spa editing software.
The file created can be transferred to you‘re FY7000 with a PCMCIA SRAM card. But you need a special cardwriter for it.
It is also possible to control the FY7000 with a IBIS telegram. In most cases it schould listen toe DS001 and DS003a telegrams. Depending on the firmware the DS003a telegram could be a zA3/zA4/zA5 telegram.

I am very happy for fast answer.
Unfortunately i am quite dum with these systems.
There is three wires between led-sign and controller.
Brown, black and white. It is a 9-pin connector.
I do not have oscilloscope so i can´t see data transmission.
With multimeter there is approx. 5volts signal between black and white.
I think it is not ibis-communication.
That sram card and programmer is way too expensive just for fun
But if someone tells something about this system, i will be very happy.

The signal between de FY7000 and the sign is RS485.
The FY7000‘s i know have also a 4pole-CPC, wich is a IBIS input. The FY7000 works as a signal leveler and telegram translator in case of IBIS use.

Some progress...
I made a USB-IBIS adapter and it works.
When i send DS001 telegram to FY7000 it says "remote command"
But nothing else does not happen.
I tried to send DS003a telegrams, but nothing happens.
I have tried IBISserial and IBISutility
Any ideas?

You are sending the DS001 correct. The thing is that Ameli only shows both linenumber and destignation when both are send the right way.
So, the moment you figure out wich DS003a telegram is used, the linenumber also shows.
I have several FY7000‘s laying around from wich i know wich telegram is used. Perhaps we can trade you‘re FY7000 for my FY7000. It has a zA4 firmware. $ marks the beginning of a new line. For example: zA4Upper text$Lower text

Or do you know where you‘re FY7000 comes from? If its from a former Dutch vehicle, it is a Connexxion or a Syntus firmware. The example with the $ is the Syntus version. Connexxion uses a Meister‘isch telegram (DS003ab, zA3/zB3)

It is propably from connexxion.
There is two destinations in memory, connexxion and eindhoven airport.

Okay. You can try to send Meister IBIS. DS3aMEIS in IBISutility.

I tried but nothing happened.
I have tried almost all options on IBISutility.
DS001 is only that does something.
FY7000 says: remote command
But the led-panel stays blank.

I have a loader driver ameli cart.
Send me your data from PRW
And be recorded on the card and do the image of the card
You can record a program win32image
