Someone could help me that what good is the Gorba C5?

Why only USB port is on it?

With the USB port you can load new data on it. Created with the software of Gorba

The C5 is a "translator" unit. The IBIS signal gets in and on the other side the alphabus signal is sent to the signs. The content of the signs is stored in here.

I thought something like that. So the ibis side there is a controller (such as Zb100) C5 device stores the data, aplha the bus and go to the displays.

This is similar to what it did to our forum Josefien‘s Alpha Master motherboard, only this USB?

Gorba C5 is the same as CU5, but no keyboard.
You upload the data itself via USB and select a driver IBIS.
I have a description of the connector if you need.
GORBA ALPHA-BUS is compatible with Lawo MONO-SYSTEM.
C5 can control displays MONO-SYSTEM type FLIP-DOT, and LCD
