Hallo Leute!
Is it possible to edit German diacritical marks in BIOS-program? Has anyone done it?
I‘d like to replace these marks to Polish diacritical, manually in HEX code.

The charset is stored in the Flash-Memory (Data-Memory) not in Bios. I wouldn‘t say that is not possible, but the effort is very high. You must change the hex values in charset and know the relationships for dot in row and column. The better way is to create new charsets with VMAED or ISEDIT. You could use the unused chars of german in polish after editing. If this is not sufficient, use the special characters.

You mean Kunden-Eprom?
The better way is to create new charsets with VMAED or ISEDIT.
Where I can get these programs?

What is your system, Compact (SS-4) or SA535?
For SS-4 IC6 or IC7 is the data-memory switchable with red switch S2.
For SA535 the sockets next to the switch too.

or maybe by a user of the forum
