Hello,
I have a Gorba LED display with CU1 DRTA 3 controller. I would like to know the requirements of the PCMCIA card.
Also I‘ve tried many things but unsuccessfull to load the controller. KeinAnzeigeDat when I put the card in.

Hello Dave,
the PCMCIA card is written in a certain data format that can only be created by using a GORBA card writer.
GORBA tells to change the CU to a CU5 or CU8 with USB because a card writer is still available, but costs nearly the same than a CU 8....
But if anyone can find out any other way, I would be interested in a solution.

Well I guess that a CU5/CU8 is not cheap. Since I will use the ‘small‘ sign just for fun. So I‘m not thinking to spend much money for it. May someone can format a PCMCIA card (GORBA reader) and then get a image?

It isn‘t cheap. I asked the prices because a friend of mine has a Gorba CU1 in a used bus that is new at his enterprise....
We were lucky that we could change it to a Topform CU1 and use the system with LAWO data now
