Gorba Sign LED and CU1 DRTA-3, 31 Mar. 2014 17:00

Hello,
I got a new LED Gorba sign and I‘m trying to load the CU1 DRTA-3 controller without succes.
I‘ve made some text with the ‘icenter editor (Alpha NT) v3.2.3‘ and wrote the .IDF file to the PCMCIA card. Once plugged in, I get ‘KeinAnzeigedat‘.
I can select at Telegram type 001A, DS21, L and Z. Currently I have DS21 (tried also L/Z).
Do I have something wrong?

Hello,
how did you manage to write it onto the card? As far as I know, you can‘t be successful without having a special hardware from GORBA (special card interface).
Also, you can only use L = 001 and Z = 003 for a CU 1 as you have no IBIS input (in this case you would have a CU3 in the older world).
Maybe I found some hints for your problem?

Hello Jens,
I‘ve used a PCMCIA flash card. But I found that I need a RAM-card for it so I‘ve ordered one, I‘ll hope I will receive that this week.
Then it should work with L/Z lets hope. I‘ve drawn a logo from my work, looks pretty cool.
