LZD Meister symbols, 26 Sep. 2013 14:12
|
Hello freaks,
I saw that is possible to use symbols at the signs for Meister (Krueger also but only 2 childrens).
I‘ve tried many things but I can‘t get the symbols in my signs.
As far as I understand when I have a ‘black‘ smiley it should change into 2 childrens, but I can‘t get the smiley in DOS. At my Windows PC I can do without any problems ALT+2 = ☻
Did anyone tried this? At LxD I can get the symbols, but loading the FLA file from LxD doesn‘t work with the sign. So I use always LZD (DOS version).

Probably DOSbox is the problem as it does not seem to support all these strange charsets (and conversion between the one used by system and the one from DOS). Booting computer with FreeDOS (from pendrive) may (but doesn‘t have to) help, maybe you need to boot original MSDOS (if you happen to have a really really old computer with FDD and PATA drive) |

Mh, are you using Alt+"Num-2" on the notebook? You have to activate the "Num" keyboard even if you don‘t have a separate numeric keypad to use the num-pad between the characters.....
Just an idea, but maybe...

Hi Jens,
Correct, I‘ve enabled ‘Num-lock‘ on my laptop and tried to use the numbers at the letters like j, k, l etc.
In Word it works without any problems, very strange/weird. And very annoying if you know it should work, but you can‘t get it working with LZD. haha :(

Tried many things without succes.
Now I found out that you can make your own symbols etc with LCC.EXE (not LZD.EXE).
So I‘ve made my own, like a beer and wine. See the pictures.
